Our vision is a world with awareness, early diagnosis, and a known cause to help cure Biliary Atresia.

Meet our President & Founder

Analy Navarro

Analy’s daughter, Julia, was diagnosed with Biliary Atresia (BA) when she was 4 months old. Due to her late diagnosis, Julia was not a candidate for a Kasai Procedure and she received her life-saving liver transplant from Analy when she was 7 months old.

Analy has a degree in marketing and sales with international business experience. She loves to travel, learn languages, and enjoys painting and photography.

Sharing her story, advocating for organ donation and fundraising for BA research has allowed her to reinvent herself professionally not only as a published children’s book author (“Mighty Me”) but also as the founder of BA HERO.

Her love for the Biliary Atresia community drives her tireless efforts to seek a world without BA and fuels her passion for helping others in their fight against this life-threatening disease.
